1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to anyone who visits or plays on the Service. The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

2. Information we collect

You can play Playsweeper without creating an account. We collect only limited information:

Information collected automatically. When you use the Service, we and our service providers automatically collect technical and usage data, which may include your device type, operating system and browser, approximate location (derived from your IP address), referring website, pages and screens viewed, in-game actions, and the dates and times of your visits.

Information stored on your device. We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to remember your settings and game progress and to make the Service work. See Section 6 below.

Information you choose to give us. If you contact us by email, we collect the information you include in your message (such as your email address and its contents).

We do not ask for or store names, postal addresses, or payment card numbers through the Service. When in-app purchases become available in our iOS and Android apps, payments will be handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play — we do not receive or store your card details.

3. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

4. Legal bases for processing

Under the UK GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:

5. Advertising

Our mobile apps are supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may use device identifiers, cookies, and similar technologies to show ads and measure their effectiveness. Depending on your consent and settings, some ads may be personalised based on your activity. The playsweeper.com website itself does not show ads.

We do not control the data practices of advertising partners. Where required, we will ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time through the consent settings in the app. To learn how Google uses data, see Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for three main purposes:

You can control non-essential cookies through the consent banner on the Service and through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Service works.

7. Third-party service providers

We use third-party providers to help us run the Service, which may process limited data on our behalf or as independent controllers. These include:

8. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the service providers described above, with professional advisers where necessary, and where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

9. International transfers

Some of our service providers are based outside the UK. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses (the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum).

10. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes set out in this policy, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Analytics and advertising data are retained according to the retention settings of the relevant providers. Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.

11. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal data; to have it corrected or deleted; to restrict or object to its processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@loyalty-apps.com.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you are unhappy with how we handle your data, though we would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.

12. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be made clear on the Service.
